Admission Deadlines Provided additional spaces are open in the current school year, applications will be accepted year-round and decisions made on a continuous basis as appropriate. Both faculty and students are accustomed to welcoming new students during the school year. Requirements & Process Before completing an application, you should arrange an interview and tour of Commonwealth Academy with Head of School Dr. Susan Johnson. After your interview, mail a completed application along with a $100 application fee and the following information:
The final step may include scheduling a “shadow day” for your child to spend attending classes at the school and meeting with teachers. The Admission Committee will notify you of their decision and a contract will be mailed to all newly admitted students. A $1,500 non-refundable deposit is due upon acceptance and will be applied toward the year’s tuition. Throughout the process, we’re here to help answer your questions, as well as those of your child.
