Students can earn a standard or advanced diploma based on successful completion of the required classes. There are two types of standard diplomas, one for students who want to continue their studies in a 4-year college, the other for students who are thinking about technical school or a 2-year program. Students who want to attend a 4-year college and want the challenge of more advanced studies work toward an advanced diploma. Students can earn up to 32 credits in four years. A standard diploma requires a minimum of 24 credits; an advanced diploma requires a minimum of 27 credits. Faculty advisors help students create a study plan to meet their goals and specific requirements are outlined in detail in the Commonwealth School Planner.
Specific honors courses offered each year are determined by the needs of the current student body. Electives Current electives offered in high school include: Beginning to Advanced Art, Music, New Media I, II, and III, Computer Programming I and II.
