Beginning in middle school, Commonwealth Academy students are provided with opportunities to participate in service learning projects as part of their curriculum. Documented service is a requirement of graduation. Giving one’s time to fellow members of our larger community as a teenager is central to building character, compassion, understanding and tolerance.

To date, our students have found both enhanced opportunities for learning as well as personal reward in their acts of charity and we continue to work with them to develop new opportunities.
