On Friday, April 18th, the Middle School is scheduled for a community service activity with Food for Others in Fairfax. Food for Others is a non-profit organization that assists unemployed and low-income families in the area. The students will be helping the warehouse stack boxes, sort and shelve product and clean the warehouse. For those students going, it is important that they are dressed appropriately including: clothes that you would wear to do work in the yard or chores, layered clothing, and no open toe shoes.
We will be eating lunch at 11:30 tomorrow so we can leave at 12:00. The students will work from 12:30 until 2:30 and we will be back at approximately 3 p.m. For those students who have elected not to attend, they will have a study hall during that time.
