Most students at C/A need some degree of support with executive functioning skills—planning, organization, time management—and all students benefit from it. Many require specific accommodations to help them acquire or demonstrate mastery, and many of our Lower School students require remediation in reading, writing, or math while others are above grade level.
Many schools offer support in these areas in some classes or on an ad hoc basis. But at C/A, an extensive array of support strategies are systemically embedded into our program. It’s not a choice at C/A, it’s a way of teaching.
