06/08/2026 - 07/10/2026
-
M - F, 8:30 AM - 1:30 PM
One-credit course. No prerequisite.
There will be no class during the holidays on 6/19 and 7/3.
Algebra II is a one-credit course that is an extension of Algebra I. Topics are added in the area of functions that expand the algebra to include conic sections and trigonometry, thus relating algebra to geometric concepts. Algebra II is generally preliminary to a course in analysis, analytical geometry, and ideas of limits and calculus. This course also ties together many of the ideas from arithmetic and geometry. Students who have successfully completed this course will be able to identify and perform diverse mathematical concepts in the field of algebra. Students must have successfully completed Algebra I, with Geometry strongly recommended, in order to take this class.

In addition to learning commands, verbs that change stems and reflexive verbs. Skills are developed through more advanced reading, writing, and listening activities, and this will give them the opportunity to learn about Latin American culture, such as traditions, music, legends, festivities, etc. Students will have the opportunity to work on cultural projects using the vocabulary established during classes and the opportunity to verbally practice their skills.

Day 2: Trail Biking Expedition
Grab your helmet—it’s ride day! Campers will explore top local trails like the Mount Vernon, W&OD, and Potomac Yards paths, building biking skills and teamwork as they enjoy scenic views and trail-side games.
Day 3: Indoor Rock Climbing
Time to reach new heights at a massive 35,000 sq. ft. indoor climbing gym! Campers will tackle fun climbing and bouldering challenges while building confidence, strength, and teamwork.
Day 4: National Mall & Spy Museum
We’ll journey into D.C. to explore the National Mall’s iconic monuments, then go undercover at the International Spy Museum—completing interactive missions and puzzles to earn “junior agent” status.

Innovative Tech Camp allows campers to dive into the worlds of virtual reality, esports, gaming, and 3D printing. Robotics, tech tinkering, and PC building are also components of this camp, where campers have the option to plan and build a computer around a powerful NVIDIA RTX GPU. Additionally, students can come in at any phase of their own personal project and get advice, or work on their home-provided parts/supplies. This camp also provides a unique opportunity to experience the Oculus Quest 2 Virtual Reality systems, where you can participate in a variety of games, from adventurous rock climbing and space exploration to interactive team dodgeball. Esports enthusiasts will enjoy our selection of popular games, including Rocket League, Super Smash Bros, Marvel Rivals, Splatoon 3, etc. Beyond gaming, we offer hands-on experience with 3D printing, allowing campers to learn and create.
